Definition Of Econ.Economics is a social science concerned with the way society chooses to use its limited resources, which have alternative uses, to produce goods and services for present and future consumption.
*Social Science - Human/people; observation, experiment, world- how the world works unpredictable. |
In at least 50 years a majority of US public school students come from low income families. In the artical The Southern Education Foundation it has found that 51% of students in pre-k through 12th grade in the 2012-2013 school year were eligable for the federal program that provides free and reduced lunches . Having this majority of low income students in public schools shows that Most children start kindegarden already trailing their more privileged peers and rarely, if ever, catch up.

Gap Between Rich And Poor |
Traditional Measure of Health of Economy |
Segregation had a huge part in the education gag back in the late 70's. the racial disparities
in today's education has narrowed significantly. The track record for reducing these inequalities is growing. everything is slowly starting to even out and statistics show. For all the progress in improving educational outcomes among African-American children, the achievement gaps between more affluent and less privileged children is wider then ever. Indidcators that Economy Is not Healthy*Higher crime
*Wages Stagnate *Longer Hours *Benefits-Health Ins. *Fear of immigrants *Fear of crime *Gated community *Cost of college education * How is the Economy doingAfter reading this question, I would say that our country is doing a whole lot better. We aren't doing horrible, the stock market is going up, most experts rate it at a "B". We aren't manufacturing much, but we are at a constant rate of growth, so it's alright. We aren't making enough money but we are getting there. We may have lots of jobs, but they are not qualit
The American DreamSegregation had a huge part in the education gag back in the late 70's. the racial disparities
in today's education has narrowed significantly. The track record for reducing these inequalities is growing. everything is slowly starting to even out and statistics show. For all the progress in improving educational outcomes among African-American children, the achievement gaps between more affluent and less privileged children is wider then ever. What is this telling you about the american dream for others? The american dream is different for everyone, for the more humble people
that don't have much its being able to live freely and have the ability to express themselves through the religion they please. Others more materialistic people want to have the nicest house the nicest cars and other "things" that will bring them happiness. The american dream all depends on the person and what class they are placed in or what struggles they grew up on. The american dream isn't just any ordinary thing the american dream is what you as a person wish you had Harder for Americans to Rise from Lower Rungs

Why Poor People Stay Poorif you're rich or at least wealthy enough to afford all of the things you have to buy as well as some luxury things, what's there really to worry about? If you don't have to worry about money most people would say "You're set for life." For the people out there that are poor and have to budget, things get really tight. For example if someone has to buy a used car and it's only around 3 or 4 thousand dollars, it could be good for awhile.... but what happens when things start going wrong with the engine? Or the up-keep keeps being an issue. They will constantly have to pour money into that car in order to get around while a rich person is able to spend that money on other things, establish good credit and not have to worry about how they're going to get to work or their kids to school.
Poor people tend to spend their money faster ad on more expensive things. like when i have only a little money I seem to go through it faster than when i have more money . Boost And Blocks
I feel like these boost and bloks told us about .the way the American people boosted white people and people who were similar to them and put down people who weren't similar to them.I think that even though the United States Government claims that they were only looking out for the best interest of everyone, they had some sneaky tricks up their sleeves that made it look like they were doing good, when in reality they were still just oppressing people. The timeline that we looked at shows us many of the things that boosted up minorites and refugees and people in need of help.It also shows us how many things that people in control were doing that blocked people's abilities to grow and shine and prosper.

Building our transportation networks. 7.) Investing in communications. . 8.) Building our energy supply. 9.) Inventing the future. 10.) Defeating totalitarianism. Are We Obligated ToHelp The Poor ?Based on my experience yesterday i dont think us as individuals are obligated to do anything . and the only reason i say that is cause ive always heard that you gotta help yourself before you can help anyone else and honestly i dont think im in any state in life to help any one i need a lot help for myself . But i do think that the tax dollars i pay should o to helping the poor. Id rather my tax dollars go to the poor then anything really because i pay a lot of taxes and i feel like a lot of people do and yet we still have so many people in poverty I feel like there a lot we could do with the tax money we pay . Even if i didnt get anything back at the end of the year im okay cause at least i would know it went somewhere good and for a good cause .

Social Class In America
How does social class affect the lives of americans ? *Affects what people buy. What they read, music listen to,food we eat, how dress *Fear criticism - worry what friends think *HOw you treat other people *SHapes Most everything about you *Low income people are invisbe in the power less *Afffects who you hang out with *Affects what oppertuinties are available to you *Cleaner , fruit more fresh Limitations *Feeling intimidated by those above *Customs of your social set *Those who belong those who dont *Sense of privilege *Tribal Solidarity * Dan O Brian "The Rich Get Richer ..."I just think it rediculous because theres so many Things and people that could use that money that these people just sit on . Now like bill gates him and his wife are giving and using there money for thing that actually mean something . Idk I just feel lke our teachers put alot of effort and time and dont get paid good enough . or like thses people who are starving like with all this money im sure theres something we could do to change or atleast reduce it but no alot of these people with money are greety,
Race In The EconomyHonestly I Think That Its wrong that people of color have such a hard time With Making Money so they can live . sometimes they dont get hired cause of how they look like how there dressed but half the time they wear there nicest clothes that they have but dint get a job cause they weren't nice enough but its sad cause they dont have money to get better clothes that why they need a job but if they cant get a job cause they dont have nice clothes how are they ever gonna make money to get better clothes. you know what i mean . and half the time these teenagers dont really have a choice on where they grew up or how they were raised but yet they get judged and bullied for it . people are so mean and i dont get it .
